It is a part of the construction process of a machinery device with purpose of maximum risk reduction. Its result is specification of requirements to ensure safety in all phases of launching and work with the machinery device. The process of risk assessment for machines before market launch is conditioned by government directive no. 176/2008 Coll. on technical requirements for machinery devices, amendment no. 1 (Machinery Directive of European Parliament and Council 2006/42/EC).
